I've spent some time looking at LegacyShell's reception in the BWD dc. While there are a LOT of positive comments (<3), there's also some hilarious negative ones, ranging from pure hate to outright lies. ahhhhhh, the classic. "Virus website". Watch out, next LS patch will add 5 self-downloading viruses! (fr though, LEARN HOW THE INTERNET WORKS! A website can't really do more harm than give away your ip, and even that can be avoided using a simple, free vpn. This has been addressed by Puppy too in previous posts iirc)

We aren't "plaguing" the main game to get players for LS, the project is just a fun little thing to play on for the user, and a fully open source expandable tool for developers. Also, speaking of money: YESSSSS 
GIMME YOUR MONEY!!! (LS has NO monetization, ergo no in-app purchases or ads)
yeah, at the end of the day neither puppy nor me or any other LS dev will make a single penny from the project.

HEYYY you got a WHOPPING 50% right! LegacyShell does prohibit cheating! In fact it has an (experimental, but still...) anticheat! Love to see the stylistic device used here with the antithesis though. Also, "unsafe"? it's https, the Hypertext Transfer Protocol SECURE! smh....

yup, playing legacyShell is very dangerous! One might say, it could end up being DEATHLY!!!
At the end of the day, I do somewhat see where these people come from. The web is scary! That, however, is no reason to turn a blind eye against the truth and the people who are correcting you (a suprisingly big amount of people actually did call out the BS. Thanks!). But in the end of the day, everything made by onlyp*ppy7 will be bad hack cheat for these people, and there REALLY isn't anything we can do about it (except clown on them, ig?).
Thanks to everyone who has actually given LS a shot, just to realize that, in fact, onlypuppy7 has NOT taken over their entire computer!
Also, don't feel personally attacked or smth bc of this post, I'm just bored and got tired of these "concerns"
